Yaşar EREN

Chairman of the Board

   Yaşar Eren, General Manager of Eren Construction Trade & Industry Co., was born

on December 20th, 1944. He graduated from the İstanbul Technical University

Faculty of Civil Engineering in 1967.

   Just after his graduation, he started his career in the State Hydraulics Works (DSI)

Adana VI District Office where he remained until 1973. While working at DSI his

positions included: construction supervisor, operations engineer, project engineer

and control engineer. In 1973 he left DSI to fulfill his military service. In 1975,

after finishing his service as auxiliary officer control engineer in Navy Department,

he worked for Turizm Construction Ltd. Co. and then for Özgü Construction Ltd.

Co. In 1979 he co-established Ak Construction Ltd. Co., which was the general

contractor for the Goksun Ovasi Irrigation Project, the Gaziantep Domestic Water

Main Storage Project as well as the Kalealtı Pump Irrigation Project.

   In 1987, Yaşar Eren founded Eren Construction Trade & Industry Co. and has since

continued his career here as General Manager. Yaşar Eren is also a member of

the Turkish Contractors Association as well as TMMOB Turkish Chamber of Civil Engineers.
